What a pleasant surprise it would be to find a bushel of kittens in such an unexpected place. Except, for many who have already rescued cats before, a dumpster cat isn't that big of a surprise… Still, one man's trash is another's treasure! And boy, were these kittens treasure and now ARE being treasured.
Though they turned out to be extra spicy, the woman was till able to rescue them from the dumpster depths. Now they have all had vet visits, gotten spayed or neutered, and have their own warm homes, a barn to play in, toys, a cat tower, and are fed three times a day. They're happy and healthy, and the rescuer gets to watch them with glee and happiness in her heart as they play on her property.

I wonder how those little feline friends ended up in there in the first place? They probably were wandering in the rain all alone on their own. Maybe they smelled some leftover food in there. Plus, it was raining, so it was also shelter, a two-for-one! They probably didn't realize that once they fell in, they would be too small to get themselves back out. They looked so sad and scared when the woman found them, but they continued to be brave and allowed the rescue mission to happen. Now they are living their best lives!
The woman posted the video as a PSA and reminder to anyone using a dumpster to check and make sure there aren't any stray critters in there before tossing in all of the trash and closing the lid shut. It's not just kittens that get stuck. We've seen videos of raccoons, opossums, squirrels, or heck, even abandoned puppies. It's tragic, but if you are there to take a peek and you find them, then it was all worth it just to be rescued and given love!
So don't forget to check the dumpster!
